The Bola Cup  is more than just a drinking vessel—it’s a celebration of nature’s raw beauty and the artistry of skilled craftsmanship. Handcrafted from ceramic and local clay, this 10 oz cup embodies a fusion of tradition and creativity. Glazed only on the inside, the exterior of the Bola Cup reveals the natural, earthy tones and textures that emerge from the unique combination of clays, each responding to the intense heat of the kiln.

What sets the Bola Cup apart is its authenticity. The clay is carefully mixed with varying percentages of earth, allowing the material to naturally "pigment" itself without the need for added color. As the fire interacts with the clay, it brings forth a stunning range of tones and textures, making each cup a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. The natural variations in color and finish are a testament to the handcrafted process—no two cups are exactly alike, even within the same batch.

Weighing just 0.3 lbs, the Bola Cup is lightweight yet substantial, offering a tactile experience that connects you to the earth from which it was born. It’s a sustainable choice, made with a deep respect for the environment and the artisans who shape each piece by hand.

The Bola Cup is more than a functional item—it’s a piece of art that tells a story of earth, fire, and human creativity. Whether used for your favorite beverage or simply admired for its unique beauty, this cup brings a sense of connection to nature and craftsmanship into your everyday rituals.

Handcrafted 10 oz glass made from ceramic and local clay. Glazed only in the inside, the final earth tones and textures are the result of the different combination of clays exposed to the heat of the kiln fire.

Weight: 0.3 lbs

Please note:

This type of ceramic has different percentages of earths and clays in order to "pigment" the paste without the need to apply a colored glaze. The materials react directly to contact with fire, the heat influences the intensity of color that each piece can have and sometimes there are variations even in the same batch, which is why in a single finish there can be a wide range of tones.
